I'm Fidel Mendoza Jr., and to me, the creative process is an exhilarating odyssey—a quest for hidden treasures and an exploration inspired by the world around us. With over 12 years of experience, I've honed my craft in crafting captivating digital and print designs, fostering continual growth and innovation across various design domains. I've had the privilege of working with esteemed companies such as Ca' Momi Wines, Fior Di Sole, BRONCO Wine Co, Gundlach Bundschu, and most recently Flying Blue Imports. During my time as Lead Creative Designer at Flying Blue Imports, I immersed myself in a diverse range of projects, from logos and branding to package design, spirits/wine labels, and web ventures. Armed with adaptability to diverse markets and a wealth of experience across projects of all scales, I'm now seeking a permanent role that aligns perfectly with my Art Director background, eager to bring my unique skills to a new chapter of creative excellence.

Championed the development and implementation of the overarching aesthetic and design direction for a prestigious portfolio of brands, including Gundlach Bundschu Winery, Abbots Passage Winery and Mercantile, Huichica Music Festival, Towle Wine Company, and Echo Echo. Spearheaded the entire spectrum of marketing and brand design initiatives, breathing life into brands, products, and customer experiences through captivating and original approaches. Led the creative charge across various channels, including the website, email, paid and organic social media, on- and off-premise outlets. Responsible for conceiving and crafting assets that transcended these channels, contributing to a cohesive and compelling brand narrative.

Collaborated closely with brand and DTC managers to meticulously define project requirements, shaping project scopes and design standards. Showcased my creativity by crafting layouts for over 100 brands, spanning a spectrum of printed materials. This included the production of compelling sales collateral, promotional items, and comprehensive campaigns featuring booklets, brochures, newsletters, posters, flyers, maps, and logos. Additionally, I developed supporting materials such as slides and computer-based presentations to enhance overall brand communication.
